What is the Discovery program?
The Pioneer Clubs Discovery program is the only children’s ministry designed specifically for churches with fewer children. The multi-age-level curriculum allows kids in grades k-6 to meet together to study God’s Word, memorize Scripture, and enjoy fun activities. With as few as two adult volunteers, the small church can effectively disciple and evangelize children in their church and community.

Why did Pioneer Clubs develop the Discovery program?
Churches with fewer children face unique challenges in ministering to kids. Until now, curriculum resources needed to be adapted in order to meet their specific ministry needs. The Discovery program offers a unique approach to children’s ministry that gives the small church tools to more effectively reach and disciple kids!

Yes! All of Pioneer Clubs’ proven midweek club programs are Bible-based, relationship-focused, and fun for kids and volunteers! And because the Discovery program is designed for ministry to a small number of kids in one multi-age-level group, the easy-to-use, top-quality resources and materials work well with fewer kids and adult leaders.

Can our church outgrow the Discovery program?
You’ll never outgrow your need to reach children with the love of Jesus Christ. However, the Discovery program was created specifically to meet the needs and challenges of churches with fewer children. As your church and club ministry grow, you will want to move from the Discovery program into either the age-specific club format of the Pioneer program, or the large group format of the Exploring program
