Cake Contest
Invite senior citizens from the church or community, and form small groups with them and the club members. Each small group gets an undecorated cake. (When you advertise the event, you could ask the congregation to donate cakes.)

Provide decorating supplies, and say that the cakes will be judged. But don’t name any categories, so that the judges can make up categories as they go to fit the finished cakes. Make sure judges give each cake a prize—most original, most colorful, most complicated, funniest, prettiest, and so on.

For refreshments, groups can share their cakes with other groups.
