Appreciating Leaders Our clubs meet Wednesday nights starting with a meal at 6:00. We invited our leaders to a Leader Appreciation Dinner/Open House one Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00. Parents supervised the kids during the regular meal and then showed a movie. Meanwhile, the council had decorated a classroom with Christmas lights and candles. CDs of quiet music played in the background. We served a buffet-style meal, arranged chairs to encourage conversation, and played ice-breaker games. Leaders came and went as their schedules allowed.
