Lions as Attention-Getters Our Animal Kingdom event last year brought out many parents, friends, and kids. The local Bowmanville Zoo brought their star attractions: two lion cubs. The kids were able to pet the cubs, and we talked about their behavior. I invited the media and was featured on the local TV station. As a coordinator, I’m very sensitive to finding ways to reach out and bring in the family members of the club kids. We invite families and pay all expenses for a special event. For the lesson for our Animal Kingdom event, I used the miracle of God with Daniel and the lions.
