“Shipwrecked” Lock-in
We do an annual lock-in for our Pathfinders and Trailblazers.
Last year we called it a Shipwrecked Weekend. We patterned it after
Gilligan’s Island and used the analogy that sin “shipwrecks”
us–we are only survivors when we are saved through Jesus Christ.
We did a treasure hunt for things you need to be a spiritual survivor.
(Your treasure hunt could include some false treasures that could
be gross–like sticking your hand in to claim a prize and finding
mud or slime!)
This event was a deepening experience for kids and leaders.
