Why Use Awards?
Bible awards and activity awards provide meaningful ways for club members
to sense accomplishment, broaden interests and abilities, and gain self-confidence.
Since these activities are completed during club meetings and events,
all regularly participating club members will receive awards. The Pioneer
Clubs atmosphere is one of cooperation, teamwork and mutual support, not
competition or rivalry. To ensure that the awards provide lasting positive
reinforcement for club members, select an award display method that will
be meaningful to your group. Pioneer Clubs offers several fun and creative
award display options from which to choose!
Awards
are an integral part of our Pioneer Clubs program. Here are some great
ways for club members to display them!
- Select a variety of activity
awards that meet the needs of all of your kids. Use your club member
handbook to help you choose activities from each of the five categories.
- arts and communication
- myself, my family, and others
- hobbies and projects
- outdoors and camping
- sports and games
- Choose from a wide variety of fun and exciting award-display options. Pioneer Clubs alumni tell us they keep their awards as mementos. Be sure to select an award-display option for each age-group that will be a meaningful keepsake. Award display vests, sashes, banners, and other creative award presentation ideas are pictured above.
- Make your award presentations special. Churches present awards in a variety of formats. Have a special-event meeting where club members have fun and receive their awards, present club members with their awards in front of the church, or invite family members to come to a special club meeting where the club members and their accomplishments are recognized.
