To earn this award, complete and check off each requirement:

1. Add music to club.
2. Create a musical show.
3. Consider music and praise.

1. Add music to club. (choose two)
Put a Scripture to music.
Ideas:

  • Use verses from a recent Bible Exploration.
  • Choose a memory verse, and turn it into a song as a memory aid.

    Teach a new song to your club or a younger club age-group.

    Help lead Songfest for your club or a younger club age-group.

    Make a CD or tape of favorite club praise songs.
    Route it around, or make copies and distribute them.

    Make a music video of a memory verse or Bible Exploration topic.
    Show the video for an audience.

    Accompany Songfest on a musical instrument.
    You could do this by yourself or with others. You could even form a Pioneer Clubs band.

    Read Psalm 98. Discuss with someone how music can help you worship, praise, or pray.

    Sing.
    Read Psalm 98. Sing several praise songs.

    Compose.
    Read Psalm 98. Find at least three things the psalm writer praises God for. Then choose three things that you want to praise God for, and write your own praise song.

    Service Opportunity
    Put on a musical presentation for others (such as at a nursing home or children’s hospital).
