Choose a hymn to help you worship God. Learn all the words to the hymn, or play it on a musical instrument.

Make a banner to praise God.
You will need: soft pencil or tailor’s chalk, burlap, pieces of felt or fabric, scissors, glue, thin dowel rod 4 inches (10 cm) longer than width of burlap, cord or string, knife, needle and thread (optional)

Sketch your design on paper. Transfer the design to the burlap, leaving at least 2 inches (5 cm) blank on top and bottom. Cut out felt or cloth pieces, and glue on. Unravel about 2 inches (5 cm) from the bottom of the burlap to make a fringe. Notch ends of dowel rod. Fold top of fabric over dowel rod, and glue or sew. Attach cord or string to the ends of the rod for hanging.

3. Participate in a worship service. (choose one)
Help plan and hold a special worship service with the pastor or a church staff person. Or participate in a regular church service.
