Welcome!
Explore the Great Outdoors with Pioneer Clubs
It's time to start thinking summer camp. Already? It's still cold outside! It isn't even Easter yet! Believe it or not, March is the most popular month for parents to consider summer camping options—based on research we conducted last fall.
Pioneer Clubs, besides offering life-transforming midweek programs, also offers a summer camping ministry—Camp Cherith. These overnight camps build on what children in your club experience during the year—all in an outdoor setting.
There are 21 Camp Cherith camps across North America. Check out the one closest to you. Let your Pioneer Clubs members know about this exciting opportunity.
As a Pioneer Clubs leader, you've gained the trust of parents so your Camp Cherith recommendation will be of immense help in making them feel comfortable with a camp experience for their child.
Camp Cherith was always a highlight of my summer. Camping offers today's kids many benefits. It helps them learn to be creative and resourceful and builds their self-esteem. Camp Cherith provides an added dimension as well—helping kids learn to rely on God. Every day campers study God's Word with their counselor and cabin group and talk about what the Bible teaches us about God's character and concern for them.
I encourage you to contact the Camp Cherith® nearest you and get brochures you can hand out at the next Pioneer Clubs meeting. Even better, invite a representative from the camp to visit your club. It's a great way for parents to get questions answered and for kids to become excited about camp.
Blessings!

What's Up at Club?
The Pioneer Clubs members of Terrace Palms Community Church in Tampa, Florida, had a blast at their first-ever Family Valentine's Party using the Pioneer Clubs Share the Love Valentine's party kit. "The kids had fun, the parents had fun, and most importantly, everyone heard about how Jesus is our valentine from God," wrote Club Coordinator Kimberly Cragg. The club members made chocolate-dipped pretzels, acted out John 3:16, played a game and made special valentines (pictured above). |
