Making It Easier for You
This month you'll notice some changes in the Leadership eNewsletter-changes that make it an even better tool for you.
First, check out the Leadership Essentials: Making Your Club a Success section. We've reformatted it so it's even more "scannable" and easier for you to find the information you need.
In this section you'll find discipline tips, ideas on volunteer recruitment, and training information (including our new PowerPoint training). All things you've asked for in a recent survey.
Next, take a look at the reformatted News You Can Use section. I hope you'll make it a habit to scan this section each month for important updates like Pioneer Clubs Sunday news, Kids for Kids Hike information and dates for upcoming events.
And finally, as you start to think about the approaching holidays, I encourage you to consider ways to reach out through Pioneer Clubs to the unchurched children in your community.
Host a special event like a Thanksgiving or Christmas party. Step-by-step directions for these special events appear in the November and December Leadership eNewsletters.
Check out the new holiday clipart as well. I can promise you the investment of time and energy spent to create a special event will be well worth it for that new child who discovers the fun of Pioneer Clubs.
Blessings to you as you help children learn to make Christ Lord in every aspect of life. May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Judy Bryson
President, Pioneer Clubs
P.S. Make sure every coordinator, leader and volunteer who helps with Pioneer Clubs at your church subscribes to this eNewsletter. Forward it to all of them so they can sign up. |

What's Up at Pioneer Clubs?

The club members at Glenside Bible Church in Glenside, PA, kicked off their club year with a visit from a few reptiles. A special guest, who owns several, told club members about reptiles and then talked about the Garden of Eden and salvation. A surprise snack, a 16-foot-long edible snake made completely of Rice Krispies® (pictured above), waited in another room. Also pictured is 14-year veteran club leader Susan, bravely holding one of the evening's visitors. |

Games: Raging Rhythms
Rhythms
Players sit in a circle. Every player has a rhythm instrument (sand blocks, triangle, pair of sticks, container of rice or beans, etc.). IT leaves the room, and the group chooses one player to be the leader. The leader starts a rhythm and the others join in. IT returns. The leader changes to a new rhythm...
