CONTRIBUTION IDEAS
“65” CHALLENGE
Before Pioneer Clubs Week, advertise a challenge for the congregation to raise a certain amount of money in honor of Pioneer Clubs’ 65th anniversary. Ideas:

  • See if the club, or each club age-group, can raise 65 pounds of money.
  • Encourage people to get creative and give donations that have to do with 65: $30 (6 x 5), 65 quarters, and so on.
  • Design a hiking poster that will help kids and church members keep track of giving. Draw a trail, marked in increments of dollars (or pounds of coins). Cut out a cardboard hiker who you’ll move up the trail as new donations come in. On the poster, use ideas such as “Join Pioneer Clubs’ 65-year legacy of helping kids find a solid path on the Solid Rock!”

SOLID ROCK CAFÉ
If your church permits fundraisers, help your club members set up a Solid Rock Café in the church foyer. Tailor your food offerings to the time when the café will be open. Ideas:

  • sub sandwiches that people could take home for lunch after a morning service
  • desserts or baked goods after an evening service

OFFERING
  • Take an offering for your church’s club ministry, Pioneer Clubs’ national ministry, or Pioneer Clubs Around the World projects. (See “Offering” section for ideas.)

HONOR GIFTS
  • Encourage the congregation to give gifts in honor of or in memory of people who have helped build your Pioneer Clubs program over the years. These donations could be made to your church’s club program, Camp Cherith®, or the national ministry of Pioneer Clubs®.
