Fifth Week Meetings

Every fifth week we have a fun night, such as a Christian movie and popcorn night or a board games night.

Fifth Week Celebrations

Our clubs wrap up each four-week unit with a special night to celebrate their hard work. All age-groups meet together and tell what they have done during the unit. Club members receive their awards, and children who haven’t finished any awards are given Pioneer Clubs bookmarks or visitor cards.

This time gives the different age-groups an interest in each other, especially the younger children, who look forward to what they’ll be able to do as they get older. Each group also builds their own unity and identity as they share their club with the others.

Fifth Week Fun

Our church uses each fifth week of club for a special-event night. Here’s a few of the activities that have occurred on fifth weeks – a Bible character dress-up party, a Christmas party, an outing to an indoor wave pool in March, and a games night for the last meeting in May. During the evening, club members also receive the awards they’ve earned in the previous four weeks.
