Good Boxes

For a special Valentine’s Day project, club members decorated boxes and filled them with goodies. Then Pals and club members delivered them to senior members of our church.

Cake Contest

For our Valentine’s party, we had a decorated cake contest. Each family brought a decorated cake. They were judged in categories such as tallest, prettiest, biggest, best Valentine theme, and so on.
Afterward we all got to sample the cakes. We also made a huge Valentine for our pastor.

Date with Your Child

We combined a Valentine’s Day party and parent appreciation night in the form of a bunch. The theme was “A Date with Your Child.” We encouraged the children to buy the tickets for themselves and their parents. They worked hard to earn their own money, and they also made the heart decorations for the hall. After eating, they provided a song or skit as entertainment. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed a good meal and each other’s company.
