I’ve Never Done That

Age-Group: Grade 1+
Number of Players: 6+

Form a circle with chairs, one fewer than the number of players. Players sit in chairs; the one without a chair becomes IT and stands in the middle. IT says his or her name and one thing he or she has never done before. Kids in the circle stand up and run for another chair if they also have never done it. IT tries to get a chair, too. The person without a chair becomes IT.

Variation for younger kids: Use one fun thing they have done instead. Or use favorite food, favorite subject in school, etc.

Name Pantomime

Age-Group: Grade 3+
Number of Players: Any

Players take turns spelling out their name by pantomiming a word that starts with each letter. For example, Casey can pantomime “cat,” “arrow,” “snake,” and so on. See how few letters it takes for the audience to guess the name. Be ready to whisper possible words if pantomimers get stumped.
